Welcome! I’m so stoked that you’re here and considering me for your next tattoo! Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned ink collector, I appreciate your interest in my work. Tattoos are permanent, deeply personal, and should be as meaningful to you as they are exciting for me to create.
While I’d love to tattoo everyone who reaches out, I have to be selective about my projects to ensure that I can give 100% of my energy and creativity to each client. If we’re a good match, I’m confident we’ll create something amazing together!
🎨 My Artistic Focus
I specialize in the following tattoo styles:
🔥 Realism – Hyper-detailed, lifelike images that bring your ideas to life.
🎭 Illustrative – Bold lines, unique shading, and artistic expression.
💧 Watercolor – Soft, blended colors with a dreamlike, painterly effect.
I’m especially drawn to colorful, floral, geeky, and Art Nouveau-inspired designs. Think vibrant botanicals, intricate fantasy pieces, and nerdy goodness! If that’s your jam, we’ll get along great.
If your idea doesn’t quite fit my artistic wheelhouse, no hard feelings! I highly recommend my talented colleagues at Sarenity Tattoo & Body Piercing, who might be the perfect match for your vision.
🎭 The Creative Process
💡 Step 1: Let’s Get Your Ideas Together
Before we start, it’s important that you have a solid idea of what you want. Even if you’re flexible on details, having a general theme, style, and placement in mind helps make the consultation process smooth and fun!
✅ Gather Your Reference Images
The clearer, the better! High-quality images > blurry screenshots.
Include art, photos, sketches, or other tattoos that inspire you.
If you have a sketch or concept of your own, even better!
✅ Body Placement Photos
Have a friend take a well-lit, straight-on photo of the area you want tattooed.
Stand naturally (no flexing or weird angles).
If it’s a cover-up, include close-up and full-area shots of your existing tattoo.
📝 Step 2: Consultation & Design Process
Once I’ve reviewed your submission, we’ll have a consultation to go over all the details. Whether we chat over email or in person depends on the complexity of your project.
What to Expect During the Consultation
We’ll discuss your concept, placement, and overall vibe.
I’ll suggest artistic tweaks if I think something could be improved.
If needed, we’ll set up an in-person consult for cover-ups or complex designs.
How I Create Your Tattoo Design
I start working on your design about a week before your appointment.
I do not send final artwork in advance. Why? Because I like to keep the ideas fresh and fluid! Sometimes the magic happens the night before or even the morning of your session.
Minor adjustments can be made on the day of your appointment.
Trust is a big part of this process—I’ll make sure you’re absolutely in love with your design before the ink hits your skin!
📅 Step 3: Booking & Deposit Policy
To secure your spot, I require a $250 non-refundable deposit for every appointment. This ensures I’m reserving time just for you and covering prep work for your tattoo.
✅ How It Works:
Deposit must be paid within 72 hours of booking.
Your deposit applies to the final cost of your tattoo.
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable (except in rare cases at my discretion).
❌ Rescheduling & Cancellations
Need to reschedule? Give me at least 72 hours’ notice.
If you reschedule last-minute, you’ll need to pay a $200 rebooking fee.
No-shows or cancellations = deposit forfeited.
Please note that credit and debit card payments in our shop incur a 4% surcharge.
💰 Pricing & Time Estimates
Every tattoo is unique, and pricing depends on size, detail, and complexity. Here’s a rough breakdown:
🎯 Small Tattoo (3-6 inches) – Up to 2 hours
🕰️ Medium Tattoo (4-8 inches) – Up to 4 hours
⏳ Large Tattoo (5-12 inches) – Full-day session
💵 Rates:
Half-day session (up to 4 hours): $800
Full-day session (up to 8 hours): $1200
Hourly rate: $250/hr
⏳ Understanding Time, Pricing & Session Flow
The size and duration of a tattoo session can vary greatly depending on a number of factors—design density, color usage (or lack thereof), linework detail, placement, and overall complexity. 🎨 Some tattoos may take longer than expected, while others may allow for more coverage in less time.
In many cases, parts of your design will be drawn directly onto your body to ensure the best flow and fit for your anatomy. These freehand adjustments are a vital part of the process and are included in your session time. ✍️
Larger pieces—especially those involving heavy shading, intricate detail, color blending, or full coverage—often require multiple sessions to complete. This is completely normal and part of building a beautiful, lasting tattoo. 💪
📅 Time Commitment & Session Booking
When booking, you’ll be asked to reserve a specific block of time for your session. You’ll be responsible for paying for the time you book, regardless of how long the tattoo takes to complete.
⚠️ Even though my pricing is based on an hourly rate, there will be no refunds or credits for unused time if we finish early or if you need to leave the session early for any reason.
You are not just paying for a tattoo—you are reserving a portion of my schedule, creative energy, and physical workspace. The tattoo is the byproduct of the time we spend together. ⏱️❤️
I greatly appreciate your understanding and respecting the process—it helps me provide the best experience possible for every client! 🙏
🛠️ Preparing for Your Tattoo
👕 What to Wear
Loose, comfy clothing that gives easy access to the tattoo area.
Bring an extra layer in case adjustments are needed.
🍽️ Before Your Appointment
Moisturize the tattoo area daily leading up to your session. Not the day of.
Get a solid night’s sleep the night before.
Eat a filling meal before you come in—tattoos are no fun on an empty stomach!
🎒 What to Bring
✔ Snacks & water (especially for longer sessions).
✔ Tablet/laptop for entertainment.
✔ Headphones if you want to zone out to music or podcasts.
✔ A single guest (one extra person is allowed per shop policy).
🩹 Aftercare & Touch-Ups
Healing is just as important as the tattoo process itself! I’ll give you detailed aftercare instructions, but here’s the gist:
✅ What’s Included in Touch-Ups:
If part of your tattoo doesn’t heal properly, I’ll touch it up for free.
❌ What’s NOT a Touch-Up:
Adding colors, extra details, making artistic changes, improper aftercare, infection, or client negligence.
💀 Numbing Cream:
Effective September 11, 2025 Michigan Law prevents the use of numbing creams, ointments and Bactine in tattoo shops. If you show up with it on, unless the product, dosage, and directions for use is appropriately prescribed by a licensed physician for use before or during body art procedures, we will have to turn you away and reschedule. Documentation of the prescription must be made part of the client record.
The use of numbing cream disqualifies you from free touch-ups. If you choose to use numbing cream you are accepting all the risks.
